Uggiano Chianti Riserva 'Fagiano' is Azienda Uggiano's 'flagship' barrique-aged Riserva and is masterminded by winemaker Daniele Prosperi. The grapes are sourced from the oldest vines on Uggiano's Colli Fiorentini and Classico properties. The result is a wine with aromas of black cherry, dried forest fruits and vanilla. More rich berry and plum characters on the palate with spicy, meaty notes and a dry tannic bite on the finish. Try this with pici pasta and ragout, or pappardelle pasta with porcini mushrooms.
