Chateau Lucas of Lussac-Saint-emilion comprises equal parts Merlot and Cabernet Franc. 20% of this wine is aged for 12-18 months in oak barrels before blending with wine aged in stainless steel and concrete vats. Deep ruby red in hue the nose is perfumed with those similar dark fruit characteristics on the nose. A balance of earthy spices, tobacco and blackcurrants in the mouth.
