ABV 14.5% South Africa All the fruit is hand-harvested in February from selected sites in Franschhoek and Paarl, both are wild fermented using whole bunches in a slow, gentle extraction which offers a sense of origin rather than winery. The cuvees are aged in French and Austrian oak, new and old, for 20 months before the blend of 67% Cabernet Franc and 33% Malbec is finalised. Textural, gently muscular and offering a tight expression of Cab Franc Malbec, this has been a big hit with clients.
